Eight Days Kenya Safari

Eight Days Kenya Gold Safari


Day 1: Tsavo East

Pick from Mombasa Airport and then drive along Mombasa-Nairobi highway. After 100 kms, you will have a short break for coffee. Proceed toTsavo East (The largest park in Kenya which covers an area of 13,747 km2). Arrive at Bachuma Gate where you begin your game drive. Visit Aruba Dam, a water hole where animals come for water. Proceed with the game driving to Voi Wildlife Lodge where you will check in at around 1.00 pm. Have lunch and relax till 4.00 pm. Proceed for another game drive till 6.30 pm. Physical attractions include Tsavo River, Yatta Plateau which is 300 km2, Mdanda Rock, Lugard Falls, Voi seasonal River and Aruba Dam. You have also a chance to see animals such as red elephants, rhinos, leopards, cheetah, and giraffes among others.. Drive back to Voi Wildlife Lodge for dinner and overnight (Voi Wildlife Lodge).

Day 2: Tsavo West

Wake up at around 5.30 am, have a cup of coffee and start an early morning game drive before breakfast. This time you have a chance of seeing the big cats of Tsavo. Back to the lodge for the main breakfast at around 8.30 am followed by game en route to Tsavo West, (The second largest park in Kenya after Tsavo East, which covers an area of 9,065 km2 and 13,747 km2 for Tsavo East). Begin a game drive en route to Severine Camp for check-in at around 1.00 pm for lunch and relax till 4.00 pm. Another evening game drive where you visit the rhino sanctuary where you have a chance to see the black rhinos. Tsavo West is a paradise for animals including elephants, giraffes, leopards, cheetah, zebras, and buffalos among others. The landscape of Tsavo West is grassland savannah with Acacia bushes with Mzima Springs and Shetani Larva being the special attractions. The game drive goes on till 6.30 pm where you drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight, (Severine camp).

Day 3: Amboseli

Wake up at around 6.00 am for a full breakfast followed by a game drive en route to Mzima Springs where you have a chance to see hippos and crocodiles. The spring produces over one million litres of water per day. Drive to Chyulu gate checking out of Tsavo West driving to Amboseli with a convoy. You will have a stopover at Shetani Larva for photos and proceed to Kimana gate in Amboseli 80 kms from Tsavo West. Drive to Ol Tukai lodge arriving at around 1.00 pm time for lunch and relax till 4.00 pm. An evening game drive till 6.30 pm then back to Ol Tukai lodge for dinner and overnight. Amboseli covers an area of 390 km2 with physical attractions such as grassland savannah, swamps and a view of Mt Kilimanjaro (The highest mountain in Africa, 5,895metres). It’s also a home to elephants, giraffes, cheetah, zebras, gnus, hyenas, buffalos among others. Amboseli is also a paradise to birds.

Day 4: Masai Mara

Wake up at 6.00 am for a full breakfast and depart to Masai Mara driving through a distance of 450 kms with a stop over at the Great Rift Valley view point. You will have your lunch on the way. Proceed to the gate and begin a game drive en route to Mara Sarova camp for check-in. Masai Mara National Reserve has an area of 1,584 km2 and it’s one of the famous and most visited national reserves in Kenya. Physical attractions include Mara River, Talek River, Loita hills, Serengeti plains and the annual wild beast migration during July to September. The landscape is woodland and grassland savannah with acacia forests. Masai Mara is famous for lions, elephants, leopards, cheetah, gazelles, rhinos, hyenas among others. It’s also attractive for bird watchers and news analysts. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova camp.

Day 5: Masai Mara

Wake up at 5.30 am for a cup of coffee followed by an early morning game drive and back to the camp for a full breakfast.. After breakfast proceed for another game drive visiting Mara River for hippos, crocodiles and the migration point of the wild beasts. (There’s another option of proceeding for a game drive with a packed lunch till evening). Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova Camp.

Day 6: Nakuru

Wake up at 6.00 am for a full breakfast and depart to Lake Nakuru national park driving through a distance of 280 kms arriving early afternoon and begin a game drive en route to Lake Nakuru lodge for check in and lunch. Lake Nakuru is alkaline, a home to millions of flamingos and pelicans and covers an area of 202 km2 of which 40 km2 is covered by the soda ash lake. Physical attractions include the euphorbia trees, fever acacia forests and the landscape is a grassland savannah. Most animals seen are white rhinos, lions, Rothschild giraffes, leopards, buffalos, gazelles among others. At 4.00 pm, start an evening game drive till 6.30 pm then back to the lodge for dinner and overnight. (Lake Nakuru lodge).

Day 7: Mt. Kenya

Wake up at 6.00 am for a full breakfast and depart to Mt Kenya driving through a distance of 260 kms with a stop over at Subukia Great Rift Valley view point, Thomson Falls and the equator line. Arrive late afternoon at Mountain Lodge (One of the tree top hotels) for check in and lunch where you have a chance to see animals from the tree top hotel. Mt Kenya is the highest mountain in Kenya with a height of 5,199 metres. It’s also a national park which covers an area of 877 km2. It has an altitude of 2132 metres above sea level. Main activities include birds’ nature walk. Physical attractions include tropical rain forests, water falls, highlands, shrub acacia, grasslands, rivers and bamboo forests among others. Animals found in this area include elephants, buffalos, stripped hyenas, water bucks, leopards, Bongo antelopes. Mt Kenya also boasts of being a paradise for different species of birds. Mt Kenya has three peaks namely Batian which is 5,199 metres, Nelion which is 5,199 metres and Lenana which is 4,875 metres. This place used to be a shrine for the Kikuyu tribe and they believed that their god lived there. Dinner and overnight at Mountain lodge.

Day 8: Nairobi - Mombasa

Wake up at 6.00 am for a full breakfast and depart to Nairobi driving through a distance of 200 kms arriving early afternoon and have your lunch at Carnivore Restaurant which is a five star restaurant. The menu consists of grilled game meat and barbecue. You will then be transferred to the airport or railway and depart to Mombasa where you will be met by our representative who will drive you to your hotel.

Seven Days Jungle Safari

Day 1: Tsavo East

Masai Mara National Reserve has an area of 1,584 km2 and it’s one of the famous and most visited national reserves in Kenya. Physical attractions include Mara River, Talek River, Loita Hills, Serengeti plains and the annual wild beast migration during July to September. The landscape is woodland and grassland savannah with acacia forests. Masai Mara is famous for lions, elephants, leopards, cheetah, gazelles, rhinos, hyenas among others. It’s also attractive for bird watchers and news analysts. Game drive at 4.00 pm till 6.30 pm and back to the camp for dinner and overnight (Mara Leisure Camp).

Day 7: Masai Mara - Diani

Wake up at around 5.30 am for a cup of coffee followed by an early morning game drive and back to the camp for a full breakfast. After breakfast, proceed for another game drive and back for an early lunch at around 11.30 am. You will be transferred to the airstrip and depart at 1.30 pm to Diani arriving at around 4.00 pm.

Seven Days Express Safari

Day 1: Nairobi – Sweetwaters

You will be picked from your hotel and then you will be transferred to Mombasa Airport, Fly to Nairobi for about 45 minutes and arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International airport where you will meet our driver / guide. Depart to Sweetwaters driving a distance of 206 kms. Arrive at around 1.30 pm for check-in and lunch. After lunch, relax till 4.00 pm where you will proceed to an evening game drive till 6.30 pm. Sweetwaters is a private sanctuary which is famously known as Al-pajeta ranch, owned by communities. It covers an area of 90,000 Ha and from here you can easily view Mt Kenya (The highest Mountain in Kenya). Sweetwaters is well known for animal orphanages like Al Moran (this is the black rhino which was shifted from Amboseli in 1974 because the parents were killed by poachers) and chimpanzees (most of them were brought in from Cameroon, Rwanda and Congo forests because they were killed for meat). Physical attractions include Uwaso Nyiro River, plain grassland savannah with Acacia bushes. Animals found in this area include black and white rhinos, reticulated and Masai giraffes, chimpanzees, buffalos, warthogs, lions, cheetahs, impalas, hippos, hyenas and different types of bird species among others. Sweetwaters is attractive for holiday makers, researchers and students from all over the world. It lies directly on the equator line. Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters tented camp.

Day 2: Samburu

Wake up at 6.00 am for a full breakfast, visit the chimpanzee sanctuary for one hour and then depart to Samburu National Reserve driving a distance of 170 kms. Arrive at the gate and begin a game drive en route to Samburu Sarova Lodge. Check in at Samburu Sarova Lodge at around 1.30 pm for lunch. Relax till 4.00 pm where you will proceed to an evening game drive till 6.30 pm. Samburu National Reserve is an arid desert covering an area of 392km2. Physical attractions include the dates palm with Acacia forests, Ewaso Nyiro River which flows to Lorian swamps, and mountains among others. Altitude is 3,747 meters above the sea level. Animals found are elephants, lions, buffalos, reticulated giraffes, gravy zebras, bias Oryx, Somali ostriches, cheetahs, and leopards among others. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sarova Lodge.

Day 3: Samburu

Wake up at 5.30 am for a cup of coffee or tea followed by a morning game drive then back to the camp or lodge for a full breakfast at around 8.30 am. Proceed to another game drive till lunch and relax till 4.00 pm for an evening game drive till 6.30 pm then back to the camp or lodge for dinner and overnight. (Samburu Sarova Lodge).

Day 4: Nakuru

Wake up at 6.00 am for a full breakfast; depart to Lake Nakuru National Park with a packed lunch driving a distance of 360 kms with a stopover at Thomson Falls and Subukia Great Rift Valley View point. Take lunch at Thomson falls or at Lake Nakuru after arrival. Arrive at the gate, begin a game drive on the shores of Lake Nakuru. Drive back to the lodge for lunch and relax until 4.00 pm. Proceed on for another game drive till 6.30 pm where you will be back to the lodge for dinner and overnight. There’s another option of proceeding with a game drive having a packed lunch which goes on from 7.00 am after breakfast till 5.00 pm. Dinner and overnight at Voi Wildlife Lodge.

Day 5: Tsavo East - Diani

Wake up at 5.30 am for a cup of tea or coffee and start an early morning drive till 8.30 am then back to the lodge for a full breakfast. Begin another game drive checking out of Tsavo East at around 11.00 am and drive to Voi town for lunch. Drive back to Diani arriving late evening in Diani.

Three Days Tsavo East & West Safari

Day 1: Tsavo East

Day 2: Tsavo West (Lumo Wildlife Sanctuary)

Wake up at 5.30 am for coffee and start an early morning game drive till 8.30 am and return for breakfast. Check out followed by a game drive en route to the gate. Depart to Lumo wildlife sanctuary - a distance of 90 kms. Arrive at the gate and begin a game drive en route to Lion Rock Camp arriving at around 1.00 pm for check in and lunch. Relax till 3.30 pm then begin a game drive till 6.30 pm.


Lumo sanctuary covers an area of 60,000 Ha and is a national conservancy which is owned and managed by the community. It is part of Tsavo West National Park, (the second largest park in Kenya which covers and area of 9,065 km2). Physical attractions include semi arid regions, grassland savannah, lion rocks, and views of Taita Hills and Pare mountains in Tanzania, Acacia forests and cammiphora bushes among others. This is home to elephants, buffalos, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, heart beasts, eland antelopes and zebras among others. This place hosts around 52 species of birds and some of which have been recorded include ostriches, kori bustard (the heaviest flying bird in the world), guinea fowls, spur fowls, sprawlings among others. Lumo wildlife sanctuary is one of the most attractive sanctuaries that preserves, conserves and protects wildlife with its flora and fauna in the eco-system. Day 3: Tsavo West - Diani

Wake up at 5.30 am for a coffee and begin an early morning game drive till around 8.30 am before a full breakfast then check out. Make a last game drive en route to the gate then depart to Voi town for lunch. Drive back to your hotel arriving late in the evening.

Three Days Tsavo Best Safari

Day 1: Tsavo East

Proceed with the game drive en route to Voi Safari Lodge where you will check in at around 1.00 pm. Have lunch and relax till 4.00 pm after which you will start another game drive till 6.30 pm then back to the lodge for dinner and overnight (Voi Safari Lodge).

Day 2: Tsavo West

Wake up at around 5.30 am, have a cup of coffee and start an early morning game drive before the main breakfast. This time you have a chance of seeing the big cats of Tsavo.
Back to the lodge for the main breakfast at around 8.30 am followed by game en route to Tsavo West, (The second largest park in Kenya after Tsavo East, which covers an area of 9,065 km2 and 13,747 km2 for Tsavo East).
Begin a game drive en route to Ngulia Safari Lodge checking in at around 1.00 pm time for lunch and relax till 4.00 pm. Another evening game drive where you visit the rhino sanctuary and have a chance to see the black rhinos. Tsavo west is a paradise for animals including elephants, giraffes, leopards, cheetah, zebras, buffalos among others. The landscape of Tsavo west is grassland savannah with acacia bushes with Mzima Springs and Shetani Larva being the special attractions. The game drive goes on till 6.30 pm where you drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight, (Ngulia Safari lodge).

Day 3: Tsavo West - Diani

Wake up at around 6.00 am for a full breakfast followed by a game en route to Mzima Springs where you have a chance to see hippos and crocodiles. The spring produces over one million litres of water per day. After visiting the Mzima Springs, drive for a game en route to Tsavo river gate and proceed to Voi for lunch. Drive back to your hotel.
